trick R treat Complete

Two days early, but I have to move on to other stuff. Here is "Brown Recluse". This is a step away from my usual stuff but she was fun to paint. Tried to go for humid, muggy feel in the BG don't know if I pulled it off, I'll have to hit it again, I suppose. Below, I also included progressions. Somebody already asked me for a print.     Jeez, what is it with you and nipples? XD Just kidding. She looks great, and I love the webs. Only six spider legs threw me off a little though. I'm assuming her arms are the fourth set...how long did this take you, out of curiosity?

    Yeah well...seems everybody's doing something with exposed cleavage lately, I was feeling a little left out. I'm glad you like it. It took longer than i would have liked due to limited amount of time I had to work overall. A couple hours here and couple hours there during my daughter's nap-time.

    Love the lighting and colors in this. And webs...*drool*

    I also like how she's grabing onto the webs. Great way to pull the eyes into her and also connect the entire piece.

    Wow awesome! I really like the rendering and the pose. I'd probably like the human abdomen blended a little smoother into the spider though. It's a small issue for sure, but the light side separates a lot from the dark side.

    awesome drawing Jeff, i guess i dont feel so bad for having cleavage in my drawings as well. hehe.

    Thanks for your comments folks. The colors were fun. Tried to keep it simple and desaturated. Primarily green, red/orange with a little blue. A fun exercise, give it a shot.
    A detail huh? Um okay, but a detail of what, Mr or Miss Anonymous?
